    Makinde’s Loyalist, Omo Iya Eleja Hails Oyo Gov Over Peaceful Conduct of LG Elections, Congratulates Akintayo, Alawode, and the 24 counselors.

    A staunch loyalist of Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon Ibrahim Ajiboye popularly known as Omo Iya Eleja has lauded the peaceful conduct of Saturday’s local government elections across the 33 local governments.

    The PDP chieftain commended the Oyo State Governor for ensuring that there was no loss of lives before, during and after the elections.

    The 2023 House of Representatives candidate declared that the outcome of the elections showed that the security architecture put in place by the Governor remains one of the best in the country.

    Omo Iya Eleja added that the election was free, fair and credible noting that it’s difficult in other states to conduct an election without bloodshed or loss of life.

    He however congratulated Hon Ibrahim Akintayo from Ibadan Northeast and Hon Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode from Ibadan Southeast and all the 24 counselors, urging the them to perform better than their previous stint
