The Chief Executive Officer of Afia Engineering, Homes and Properties, Engr. Abduljelyl Karheem Mogaji Adanla has strongly refuted claims linking him to the sale of a section of the Bola Ige International Market.

Adanla in a statement made available to Goal Poacher News, expressed his frustration over the rumours circulating about his involvement in the matter.

In a conversation with a friend, Adanla clarified that he was unable to listen to a broadcast on Fresh FM due to a family meeting.

However, he was informed that Amex Construction and the market elders are the parties behind the sale. Alhaji Abdulwahab Hameed, the CEO of Amex Construction, has reportedly confirmed this.

Adanla emphasized that, while he serves as the consultant appointed by the state government to help reposition the market, he has no role in any transactions regarding its sale.

Warning against the spread of misinformation, Adanla urged those perpetuating such rumours to cease their actions or face legal consequences.

He firmly stated, “My operation has nothing to do with the selling of any section.”
