Motorized Borehole Projects: Egbeda Leaders, Stakeholders Commend Hon Sanda For Prioritizing Residents’ Welfare
Hon. Sanda Sikiru, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government Area, recently commissioned motorized water borehole projects and donated Generator sets in some key locations within the communities in the local government.
The newly installed boreholes are at Oluwo Ward 9, Adegbayi Market Ward 10 and Welcome to Egbeda Market, Ward 6 are set to significantly improve access to clean and portable water for residents and traders in these areas. This initiative is part of the local government’s ongoing efforts to address water scarcity especially during this dry season and enhance the quality of life for the people of Egbeda LGA.
In his remarks, The Co-Chairman, Oyo Elders Council, Elder Dr. Wole Oyelese commended the Executive Chairman for prioritizing essential infrastructure that directly impacts the well-being of the people. Dr. Oyelese emphasized that the provision of clean and portable water is a vital step toward improving health, promoting economic activities, and fostering development in the community. He expressed confidence that the borehole projects would significantly alleviate water challenges faced by residents and enhance the overall quality of life in Egbeda.
Also the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Inter party, Hon. Busari Olayemi who also commissioned the newly installed borehole projects, took the opportunity to laud Hon. Sanda Sikiru for his exemplary leadership and commitment to improving the lives of residents in Egbeda Local Government Area.
He praised Hon. Sanda for his dedication to addressing the pressing issue of water scarcity in the council area, noting that the successful completion of the motorized boreholes at strategic locations such as Oluwo area of ward 9, Adegbayi Market area of ward 10, and Welcome to Egbeda, Academy Market area of ward 6 is a testament to his vision for sustainable development.
Hon. Olayemi Busari expressed his support for Hon. Sikiru’s initiatives, highlighting that these projects would not only provide reliable access to clean and portable water but also contribute to the overall progress and well-being of the people in the area.
