The Director-General, Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has paid glowing tribute to the late popular Islamic preacher, Muhydeen Ajani Bello following his demise last week Friday.

Tegbe ‘s tribute was contained in a statement signed by his media aide, Adeola Adelabu and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Sunday.

“I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of His Eminence, Fadilat Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, Oniwasi Agbaye, a revered Islamic figure in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Yorubaland at large. The sad event occurred, leaving an unfillable void in the hearts of many.

“Without an iota of doubt, Sheikh Muhydeen lived a fulfilled life, leaving an indelible mark on this generation.

“He was a blessing to many, impacting countless lives through his inspiring preaching, teaching, philanthropy, and, above all, his exemplary pious lifestyle.

“On behalf of the Oguntegbe family, and indeed all descendants of Labo and environs, I extend my deepest condolences to his immediate family, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, the Grand Imam of Oyo State, the Muslim Ummah, and indeed all Ibadan and Yoruba sons and daughters.

“May Almighty Allah grant repose to the soul of the deceased, bless his memory, and grant him Aljanah Firdaus.”
