The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter hereby express gratitude to the compassionate attitude the State Governor, H.E Engr. Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde have been handling the State affairs.
Most especially with the manner used to handle the ENDSARS Protest in Oyo State. In furtherance to curb the hijacked Protest by hoodlums and thugs that are looting public and private holdings, the serenity in the security architecture is of the State can be adjudged to follow the best practices.
The Council acknowledged his doggedness for the Meeting with Youths, ENDSARS Conveners, Artisans and relevant stakeholders, this indicates that young people have viable opportunities to leadership platforms;
the plan of earmarking 500M for compensation to those that have suffered harassment, brutality and extra judicial memories; the launch of 500M for Youth Empowerment, Recruitment of Amotekun Corps and the composition of the Panel of Inquiry; with strong indications that the young people will be involved in the processes as Committee member with role of taking decisions.
Your Excellency sir, thanks for your promptness, better attitudinal response to humanity and laying of new foundations to the Governance sphere in the State.
