Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has assured the good people of his constituency of more dividends of democracy in the year 2025.

The lawmaker said this on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, while wishing his constituents a prosperous new year ahead.

The lawmaker recognised the resilience and perseverance of the people of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North in the face of a very challenging economic situation, promising that the year 2025 will be a year where dreams and aspirations come true.

Hon. Adepoju also assured graduates in the five communities comprising the federal constituency of more job opportunities in the new year. According to him, the year 2024 saw close to 100 constituents being employed in the service of the federal government of Nigeria, reiterating that 2025 promises to have more than double of what was experienced in the last year.

The federal lawmaker expressed that he has been persistently following the 2025 budget as presented by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that 2025, as lobbied so far, will also be a year of unprecedented infrastructural and human capital development for Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency.

Hon. Adepoju also praised the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Egnr Seyi Makinde, for his efforts in every sector of the economy of Oyo State. He assured the Governor of the continued support of the people of his constituency in 2025 and beyond.

Ibarapakan thanked the local government chairmen in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Local Government Areas and all the traditional rulers in the region, urging them to continue to show leadership even in the face of the hardship being faced in the country.

The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character extended his New Year wishes to the leadership and members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) at the local, state and federal levels, saying that the PDP will continue to remain a party to beat with unity, fairness and togetherness. He prayed for everlasting peace in the party and showered his blessings ahead on everything that concerns the formidable political party.
