NGO felicitates founder as Fed Poly, Kaura-Namoda, Governing Council Chairman
Akure, April 9, 2021(NAN) MyChoice Group, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Akure, has congratulated its founder, Hon Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, on her appointment as the Chairman of Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Kaura-Namoda, Zamfara.
Mr Joe Ola, Media Publicity Secretary of the group, gave the congratulatory message in a statement on Friday in Akure.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Federal Government had in April 2021 reconstituted the governing councils of 25 Federal Polytechnics and 21 Colleges of Education across the federation.
Ola commended the Federal Government for the appointment and described the NGO’s founder as a seasoned, thorough, well-groomed leader who would bring her wealth of experience to bear in the new assignment.
He said that the group was confident that Princess Ohwovoriole’s inputs and contributions would transform the polytechnic into its expected achievement.
The appointment letter was signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr Sonny Echono.
It noted that the inauguration ceremony of the new councils would be performed by Education Minister, Adamu Adamu, on April 20, 2021 at the Idris Abdulkadir Auditorium, National Universities Commission Auditorium, Abuja by 11.00 am.

Aboyowa Ikomi, from Delta, Mr Nasiru Sani from Katsina,
