    Nigeria Army Day 2020: 2 Division Nigeria Army Distributes Palliatives to Over 500 Poorest of the Poor in Ibadan

    Over five hundred households in Ibadan, yesterday benefitted from the palliatives that were distributed by the 2 Division of Nigeria Army in commemorations of this year Nigeria Army Day Celebrations.

    2 Division of Nigeria Army through their Deputy Director of Public Relations, Colonel Hassan Ifijeh Mohammed, who made it known in a press release that was made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital on Sunday, stated that the relief materials were distributed to not less than five hundred households in Ibadan South East Local Government part of the State.

    The release further stated that “The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, ably represented by the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. AB Omozoje today, 4 July 2020, distributed palliatives in commemoration of Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL)2020 to the residents of Idi Arere and Ode Aje in Ibadan South East LGA of Oyo State.


    Relief Materials were distributed to over 500 households in the locality.The General Officer Commanding 2
    Division Nigerian Army led the distribution of the palliatives.

    The General Officer Commanding assured the recipients of the palliatives the continue support of Nigerian Army in the fight against COVID-19, and other social vices.

    Most of the beneficiaries mostly elderly women and men, including a youth leader in the area, all appreciated the gesture of Nigerian Army for their kindly supports.
