Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership to Boost Industrialization – Tegbe
The Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, has reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing collaborations with Chinese business leaders to accelerate Nigeria’s industrialization.
During a media interactive session in Abuja, Tegbe stated, “Our goal is to deepen collaborations with Chinese business leaders as we work towards fast-tracking Nigeria’s industrialization.”

He emphasised the NCSP’s role in “facilitating strategic investments, stakeholder engagements, and project execution under the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).”

Tegbe highlighted the importance of leveraging Chinese expertise, saying, “We aim to harness technology and financing from China to revitalize Nigeria’s manufacturing and industrial sectors.”

He disclosed that recent missions have secured over $20 billion in investment commitments, covering sectors such as “agriculture, automotive manufacturing, mining, steel production, and energy.”
“These initiatives will drive food security, create jobs, and catalyze Nigeria’s industrial renaissance,” Tegbe added.
The NCSP’s activities align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on “accelerating national development and positioning Nigeria as Africa’s leading industrial hub.”
