The Oyo State Chapter of Nigeria Youth Congress Comrade Headed COM. ABDULFATAI ADEYEMI LEGACY earlier today made a peaceful walk to the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State ( BCOS) to demand Justice and task the State Government to tightened up the Security Challenges confronting the State.

In His statement, he expressed total displeasure towards the nonchalant attitudes of the Nigeria Police  and other relevant authorities whose responsibilities are to secure the lives and properties of the good people of Oyo State.

He however, demanded for justice from the State Government for Barakat Bello, Azeezat Showumi, Grace and other victims of rape, whose lives were cut short untimely.

Consequently, in the same struggle to curtail the scourge of rape, defilement, and murdering of our generational mothers, the leadership of the Nigerian Youths Congress also deemed it fit to Visit a Divisional Police Office in AKANRAN POLICE divisional headquarter where a Culprit was justly detained for defiling a 12 year Old Girl which is against  Humanity.

The DPO has undoubtedly changed our mindset against the police  by saying that the Culprit will not for any reasons whatsoever go  Scot free and even added that the case wss about to be transfered to the State CID as at the time we were with him for further investigation while the Leadership of NYC are still maintaining their stand that whatever it takes will be put in place to ensure justice is serve to the Culprit.

    In togetherness we SAY:
    NO TO RAPE.
    NO TO DEFILEMENT.
    NO TO MURDER.
    NO TO CYBER CRIME.
    NO TO ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR.

    Signed:
    Com. Abdulfatai Adeyemi LeGaCy
    Oyo State Chairman
    NIGERIAN YOUTHS CONGRESS
