In a landmark expression of gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde over the prompt payment of Salaries, regular promotion of staffs, thirteen month salary and recent payment of duel felief fund.
The Executive Committee of the four Local Governments of Oyo Federal Constituency, Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West, paid a Solidarity visit to the former Speaker of Oyo State and Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu Aduke at her residence yesterday.
On behalf of the Members of the Executive and entire Staffs of the Local Governments in Oyo Federal Constituency, Alhaji Olayiwola Sheriff and Alhaji Adekunle Waheed, expressed their satisfaction to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and leadership of Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, not only in Oyo Federal Constituency but in Oyo State at Large.
They also described Senator Monsurat Sunmonu as a mother with the milk of human kindness and a philanthropist who keeps the better living of her people at the top priority.
They also requested Senator Monsurat Sunmonu to assist the Local Governments through the magnanimity of Governor Seyi Makinde for the Provision of Nulge Buses for the thirty three (33) Local Governments to assist in cater for the Mobility and welfare of the Staff.
They also stressed further to request for the Electric Motorcycles to make administrative work be more effective and easier. They also requested for more logistics fund to run the affairs of the Local Governments effectively.
In her remarks, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu appreciated their visit and assure them of presenting their requests to the appropriate quarters.
On a final note, the Nulge Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, appreciated all the Executive Chairmen of Oyo Federal Constituency for their total support to members of the Staffs. He further appreciated Senator Sunmonu for the show of love, warmest reception and gift.
He also assure Senator Sunmonu that, the Nulge will do everything within their reach to support the Governor in whatever he decides on his candidates for forthcoming general elections.
