Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government joined the Oyo State Government, thousands of sons and daughters of Ibadanland and the good people of Oyo State at the coronation ceremony of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
The council boss lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for sticking to the traditional rules in approving the appointment and installation of the new monarch.
He wishes His Imperial Majesty, a long, peaceful and successful reign and prayed that Ibadan will experience unequalled development, and tranquility during Oba Olakulehin’s reign.
Oba Owolabi Olakulehin was on Friday crowned as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland while the staff of office was presented by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde to the admiration of the joyous crowd.
