Oba Oyediran Lays Foundation For Construction Of Ultramodern Kajola Market In Ogbomoso South LG
Traditional council in Ogbomoso South local government area of Oyo State has commended the infrastructure drive of the administration of the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy (OOT).
The Onpetu of Ijeru Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Oyediran Olagbemi Osekun 111 gave the commendation on Monday during the sod-turning ceremony for the construction of ultramodern Kajola Market.
The monarch described the initiative as a pivotal move by the local government chairman to revitalize trade and commerce in Ogbomoso South local government.
Oba Oyediran extolled the sterling leadership qualities of Hon Timothy stated that the council boss has performed excellently by redefining and replicating good governance at the grassroot.
Delivering his short remarks, Hon Oyedokun stated that the market when completed and commissioned will further boost economic activities of the council.
OOT as he is fondly called declared that the market would have 120 lock-up shops, 85 open shops, a state-of-the-art abattoir as well as a cutting-edge administrative block.
“In a momentous occasion, the esteemed, HRM Oba Sunday Oyediran Olagbami Osekun III Onpetu of Ijeru Land, joined by fellow traditional rulers in Ogbomoso South local government, as well as members of the executive and legislative branches of the council, spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony for a transformative project at Kajola market today.
