The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has announced the postponement of its December General Assembly, initially scheduled for December 5, 2025, to December 12, 2025.
The decision was made to accommodate the conferment of Okanlomo Oodua on Chief Dotun Sanusi, a distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist, which is set to take place on December 5, 2025.
In a statement signed by Adetokunbo Ayobami Subair, Secretary General of CCII, the organization apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and expressed its commitment to continuing its mission to promote the economic, social, and cultural interests of Ibadanland and its people.
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s conferment has generated interest, with many notable figures, including the Punch Newspaper, extending congratulations.
The event is expected to draw prominent personalities from various sectors.
