Olajide Central Mosque: Odidiomo Will Foster Religious Harmony in Oyo if… Says Group
In a significant milestone for Oyo State, the lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon Dhikirulahi Adedeji Olajide Stanley popularly known as Odidiomo has been lauded by Omituntun 3.0 group for embarking on the construction of an ultramodern Central Mosque in honour of his late father, Alhaji Olajide who died in 2024.
According to the Secretary of the group championing grassroot development a credible successor for Governor Seyi Makinde in 2027, Alhaji Akeem Oladeji, the journey to this monumental religious edifice which was initially marked by challenges and eventual triumphs, reflects Odidiomo’s commitment to fostering unity and religious inclusivity in the state at large if given the opportunity to replicate his sterling performance being witnessed in his present political office.


“The Central Mosque being Constructed by Hon Dhikirulahi Adedeji is a reflection of his wisdom and leadership acumen.
“Our findings showed that the lawmaker was not driven by political motives, as some opposition elements who are jittery of his track record insinuated.

” Instead he did that to ensure that his late father’s legacy as a popular man in Ibadanland during lifetime and name remain intact.
“This has reflected Odidiomo’s commitment to religious harmony and respect for diverse beliefs. He has also done a lot for the Christian Community outside his Federal Constituency.
“The new mosque is not just a place of worship; it is a multifunctional edifice designed to serve various purposes.
“It will be equipped with an Islamic knowledge center, it stands as a beacon for imparting religious teachings to children, youths, and those seeking enlightenment in Islamic knowledge.
