About two thousand members of APC decamped to PDP today in Surulere Local Government of Oyo State.
The APC members from Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa Local Government were led by their leader, Mr Sayo Alagbe a popular cashew merchant and one of the strongest pillars of APC in the Federal Constituency.
Handing over the decampees to the party Chairmen of Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa in the presence of Hon. Seun Ojo and Isaiah Adegbite the local government Chairmen of Ogo Oluwa and Surulere respectively, Barr Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development assured the new party members of the party’s recognition, and reward for hardworking and loyal part members. He charged the new party members to work hard for the success of the party in the coming local government election and for the growth of the party generally.
Present at the event are Hon. Ojo Makanjuola and Hon. Abideen Adeoye, the Honourables representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere federal Constituency and State Constituency respectively.
Others are Hon. Folaranmi Oyebamiji, four former Chairmen of Surulere Local Government, Prince Adeleke Ajala, Chief Rasaq Mustapha, Hon. Aworinde Lasisi and Hon. Israel Ogundiran and other party leaders.
