A community leader and business mogul, Oloye Babatunde Ologburo has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the ground breaking ceremony aimed at upgrading Samuel Ladoke Akintola Ibadan Airport to international standard.
Oloye Ologburo expressed his appreciation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to improving infrastructure that have direct value to the economic development of Oyo State.
“The upgrade of Ibadan Airport is a significant step forward for Oyo State. This development will not only enhance the travel experience for our citizens but will also promote economic growth and accessibility for pilgrims heading to religious sites.”
He noted that the upgrade will aid influx of from investors to the state capital thereby turning Ibadan to a regional business hub in the Southwest.
“The renovation and expansion of the airport to international status are crucial. This will ensure that our pilgrims have access to reliable transportation and can embark on their spiritual journeys with ease.”

Oloye Ologburo congratulated Hon Bimbo Adekanmbi on his appointment as the chairman of the 11-man committee set up by the Governor to actualize the upgrade.
He said Bimbo’s administrative acumen will enable the committee to carry out the task successfully.
