    Olubadan To Elevate Makinde, Dotun Sanusi, Others On Friday

    Nine chiefs in the Otun Olubadan line from Jagun to Ayingun would be elevated on Friday by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.

    The ceremony which is expected to have members of Olubadan-in-council in attendance would hold from 11.00 am at Oke-Aremo Palace,Ibadan.

    Some of the  chiefs include an Ibadan a renowned lawyer and Oyo State Governor’s elder brother, Chief Olumuyiwa Makinde PhD, who would be promoted from Aare Onibon to Gbonka Olubadan, while the renowned Engineer and business titan,Chief Dotun Sanusi would be promoted from Ajia to Bada Olubadan.


    Similarly, House of Reps member,Chief Akin Alabi would be elevated from Jagun to Ajia Olubadan.

    Newsarena reports that the promotion from Mogaji to the highly competitive Jagun Olubadan title would not hold until further notice.

    The rest list of Chiefs due for promotion is as follows:

    1. Chief Dauda Kolawole Gbadamosi From Aare Ago to Ayingun Olubadan

    2. Chief William Oyeleke Akande From Lagunna to Aare Ago Olubadan

    3. Chief Oluyinka Akande From Oota to Lagunna Olubadan

    4. Chief Olufemi Taofeek Ogunwale From Aare-egbe Omo to Oota Olubadan

    5. Chief Wasiu Aderoju Alaadorin From Gbonka to Aare-egbe Omo Olubadan

    6. Chief Abiola Iyiola Anlamole From Bada to Aare Onibon Olubadan
