Oluyole LG Boss, Olatunji Christens Newborn After Gov Makinde, Otunba Seye
The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Governmen, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has celebrated the arrival of a new addition to his family in a remarkable way by naming his newborn son after the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his close ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro.
The naming ceremony, held on Sunday, January 12, at Olatunji’s private residence, was well attended by prominent political figures, government officials, family members, and well-wishers.
The child was named Seyi Makinde Seye Muhammed, a gesture the LG boss described as a tribute to the exemplary leadership and support he has received from Governor Makinde and Otunba Famojuro.
Speaking during the ceremony, Olatunji expressed his admiration for Governor Makinde’s transformational leadership, which has positively impacted Oluyole Local Government and the entire state.
“Governor Makinde has been a selfless and visionary leader of note in modern time as well as a source of inspiration to many of us.
“Naming my son after him and Otunba bSeye Famojuro simply symbolizes my appreciation for their guidance and mentorship,” Olatunji said.
Otunba Famojuro, who attended the event virtually, congratulated Olatunji and his family. He expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as an honor and a testament to the strong bond shared by the political team in Oyo State.
The naming ceremony featured special prayers and goodwill messages from dignitaries, including party stakeholders and traditional rulers, who commended Olatunji for his dedication to his people and his loyalty to the Makinde led administration.
