Omolola Alawode Celebrates Arrival of Year 2025 First Baby

 

In a heartwarming ceremony, in the early hours of Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the wife of the Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Deaconess Omolola Oladunni Alawode, welcomed and presented cash and material gifts comprises of baby items to mother of the first baby of the year 2025 delivered at the Oranyan Primary Health Care Centre of Ibadan South East Local Government.

The new baby, a male who weighed 2.8Kg delivered at exactly 3:15am by Mrs. Ganiyat Abdulazeez, is the first baby of the year 2025 in the council area.
Welcoming the first baby, Deaconess Alawode expressed joy and gratitude at the arrival of the first baby, extending her felicitations to the proud parents and the health care team present during the arrival of the baby on January 1st, 2025.

While reiterating the importance of essential care for new born babies, Deaconess Alawode stressed that child’s early years of care, love, and attention lay the foundation for a happy and healthy future.

She said “My message to all mothers in Ibadan South East Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria at large is that God Almighty would continue to guide and protect their children, they would find favour in the sight of God and would be continuous sources of blessings to their parents”.

Mother of the new born baby, Mrs Ganiyat Abdulazeez and the Chief Matron of Oranyan Health Centre, Mrs Adebunmi Aremu both thanked Hon. Alawode and his wife for the kind gesture.
With the wife of the Chairman were women leader, Hon. Kudirat Babatunde, Director of Education and Social Services, Alhaja Ganiyat Durodola, Mrs Odunbaku, Mrs Oyeniran.
