The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Mrs. Omolola Alawode, on Wednesday warmly received the wives of Local Government Chairmen within Ibadan as she hosted their meeting in an atmosphere of unity, friendship and shared commitment to grassroots development.


Welcoming the distinguished guests, Mrs. Alawode expressed delight at hosting the gathering and commended the women for their unwavering support, encouragement and sacrifices that have contributed immensely to the successes recorded by their husbands in office.


In his goodwill message, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, appreciated the wives of the council chairmen for standing firmly behind their husbands throughout their administration. He described them as dependable partners whose prayers, encouragement and understanding have strengthened grassroots governance across the state.




Hon. Alawode prayed for greater accomplishments for all Local Government Chairmen completing their tenure, while also wishing success to those seeking re-election or aspiring to higher political offices.
The Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Dr. Agnes Olakunbi Ojo, applauded the women for their invaluable support to their husbands and their dedication to keeping their homes stable despite the demands of public service. She encouraged them to remain steadfast in their commitment to family values and community development.
The meeting was attended by top management staff of the council, including the Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Adenike Najimdeen; Director of Administration and General Services, Mr. Kayode Bamgbade; Director of Finance and Supply, Mr. Abidemi Ogunmakinde; Director of Works, Engr.
