The Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Honourable Ademola Omotoso, has showered glowing praises on Governor Seyi Makinde, describing him as a resilient, visionary and result-driven leader whose sterling performance has elevated him into a dominant political force in the South-West and across Nigeria.

Omotoso made the remarks on Thursday during the governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly primaries organised by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), held at the prestigious Watershed Celebration Centre, Old Ife Road, Ibadan.

The colourful political gathering attracted party delegates, influential stakeholders, youth groups, women associations and hundreds of enthusiastic supporters from across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State.

Speaking with journalists at the event, Omotoso commended Governor Makinde for what he termed “uncommon dedication to governance, infrastructural renewal and people-oriented leadership.”

According to him, “Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated exceptional courage, resilience and commitment to the development of Oyo State. His administration has redefined governance and restored confidence in leadership.“
“His sterling achievements have naturally positioned him as a leading political figure not only in the South-West but in Nigeria as a whole“ he said.
Omotoso further noted that Makinde’s style of governance has become a model for progressive leadership, adding that many political actors across party lines now look up to him as a symbol of purposeful administration.
“The governor’s giant strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, road construction and economic development speak volumes. His impact is visible everywhere, and the people can testify to the transformation taking place across the state,” Omotoso stated.
The APM primaries witnessed intense political activities as aspirants contested for tickets into various elective positions ahead of the next general elections.
Party leaders repeatedly stressed the need for unity, discipline and grassroots mobilisation to strengthen the party’s chances at the polls.
Security operatives were strategically deployed around the venue to ensure law and order as the event all witnessed the presence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), while supporters chanted solidarity songs and waved party banners in an electrifying atmosphere.
