Onaiwu felicitates, welcomes new CP, Funsho Adegboye to Edo
Dr Earl Osaro Onaiwu, the new face of PDP Edo, the former Director General of the Nigerian Governors Forum and the leading frontline aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, felicitates and welcomes the new commissioner of Police of Edo state, Funsho Adegboye to office, and urges him to provide strategic, but sound solutions to curb the unrest happening in Edo, especially as the elections draws closer, and the battle line between political parties are drawn.
He emphasized that the safety of the Edo people are of paramount importance to him,
“the unity of the party and the unity of the people at large remains top priority to me”,
he said while urging the new commissioner, to ensure the safety of lives and properties of the citizens.
He’s also noted that in order to achieve this, and maintain peace and unity in the state, the general public and the good people of Edo are encouraged to give their support to the new commissioner and the Police force in order to maintain peace and tranquility, especially in this era of political campaign.
Onaiwu who was the initiator of the North East Economic Summit, further stressed that development reduces the rate of crimes in the society and a good relationship between the police and the people is key to peace, and the protection of lives and property.
