With just fifteen months of the administration of our darling Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, in office, the state has undergone unargueably the biggest transformation since its creation 44 years ago. Across the length and breadth of the state and in almost all the sectors, our enigmatic leader has had a robust impact like never before, especially the way in which the previous administration handled the critical aspects of the system.

Children in the public schools are receiving qualitative education; youth employment, entrepreneurship, on the increase. Oyo state is open for business and fast becoming the financial and economic hub of the African continent; health facilities have been upgraded; Our art and culture, transportation, buses, bus terminals, dry port, and the Engineer Seyi makinde led government shows no signs of slowing down.

With upgrading of security apparatus and projects like Light up Oyo state, the Oyo state Night economy has been boosted, as the people are now free to move around in a safe and secure city. Emergency services are impeccable.
With the pace at which infrastructure development is taking place in Oyo state, our city will not just experience 4 years of progress under Governor Seyi makinde in his first term in office, it seems more like 50 years of progress.
Advances in socio-economic development means one thing: Oyo state is Open For Business.
We must remember the transformational change Oyo state has witnessed under the Engineer Seyi makinde led government since May 29, 2019 and we must at least, acknowledge the many projects and transformation Engineer Seyi makinde has brought. From all the zones of the state, our juggernaut and achiever par excellence has created the true legacy for the future of Oyo state which starts now.

The quintessential contribution of our leader and the God-sent saviour of the new God’s own state is highly commendable

Is it on regular payment of salary, promotion of civil servants, payment of gratitude to retirees, reinstatement of the unjustly sacked staff of the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital? Is it on agriculture, good road networks, name it. The list goes on and on.

Just recently, the government embarked on the renovation of Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasigba, Ibadan. Just on Wednesday, the government began the popular Under G road at LAUTECH, Ogbomoso. There are so many other projects and masses-oriented programmes that the administration has embarked on.

I, therefore, on this day, pray that the good Lord should continue endowing our leader wisdom, knowledge and understanding so that he will take the state to greater heights.

Keep the good work going, our leader par excellence.
