Comrade Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola popularly known as (FRYO) has emerged as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Osun 2026 Governorship Election.
According to the poll official who announced results, Adebayo polled 919 votes out of the valid 957 accredited.
The election was conducted on Tuesday barely twelve hours after Governor Ademola Adeleke announced his resignation from the party.
This online newspaper had reported earlier that someone from Governor Seyi Makinde’s camp would emerge as a place holder till the crisis rocking the party at the national level is resolved.
