OTOPE Foundation Set To Train Youths in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency on Solar Power, CCTV Installations, Others (Check Details)
The Director-General Liaison Office, Abuja and Lagos, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji OTOPE has unveiled plans to organize vocational training for youths in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency.
OTOPE stated this in a release he made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
According to him, the training programme is being organised as part of his youth empowerment and human capacity-building initiatives.
“The training programme will be organized by OTOPE FOUNDATION in conjunction with GBOLEX TECHNOLOGY.”
OTOPE FOUNDATION initiated the programme to create employment opportunities in the federal constituency to generate wealth and empower the youths to contribute to the economy of Oyo State.
The PDP chieftain said, “unreliability of electric power is a major challenge affecting citizens’ quality of life and the success of business enterprises in Nigeria, hence the clamour for renewable energy solutions to become a major part of the energy mix.
“It is important for the youths to prepare and position themselves for opportunities in the renewable energy space, particularly because Oyo state enjoys abundant sunlight.”
The free training will focus on other aspects which include, CCTV Camera surveillance installation, electric fence wire security installation, intercom phone system, car tracker GPS and factory internet systems installation.
The training will start on Monday, 25th March, 2024, the first phase will last a period of two months.
The venue for the training is OTOPE FOUNDATION Office, Sheriff Junction, beside Beacon Hotel, Alawaye off Amuloko-Akanran Road, Ibadan.
