The leadership and members of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ibadan South-East Local Government Area of Oyo State have expressed appreciation to Professor Dahud Kehinde Sangodoyin for donating two campaign vehicles to support the party’s activities in the area.
The party, under the leadership of its Ibadan South-East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Olajide Oluwole, said the donation would support grassroots mobilisation and other campaign activities ahead of the forthcoming elections.
In a statement signed by Oluwole and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Saturday, the party described Sangodoyin’s gesture as a demonstration of his commitment to the growth and development of the APM in Ibadan South-East and Oyo State.
According to the party, the vehicles would provide additional logistical support for its activities across the local government, particularly in reaching wards, communities and other grassroots stakeholders during its mobilisation efforts.
The leadership also said the gesture would encourage party members and strengthen their commitment to the task of building the APM at the grassroots, while calling for continued cooperation among leaders, ward executives and members.
“On behalf of all ward chairmen, leaders and stakeholders of APM in Ibadan South-East, we sincerely appreciate Professor Dawud Sangodoyin for this generous gesture and his support for the party,” Oluwole said.
He added that the party would ensure that the vehicles were deployed responsibly and strictly for activities connected with its grassroots mobilisation and campaign operations.
“We assure Professor Sangodoyin that the vehicles will be judiciously used for the purpose of grassroots mobilisation, campaign activities and other legitimate engagements of the party as we continue to work towards strengthening APM in Ibadan South-East,” he said.
The party leadership said the donation had further demonstrated the importance of support from stakeholders in strengthening the organisational capacity of the party and enhancing its engagement with residents across the local government.
It also expressed appreciation to its ward chairmen, leaders and other stakeholders for their continued commitment, urging members to remain united and focused as the party intensifies its activities ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The APM leadership in Ibadan South-East said it remained committed to expanding the party’s grassroots presence and strengthening its organisational structure across the local government.
The party prayed for continued blessings and success for Sangodoyin, while reiterating its appreciation for the donation and support towards its activities in Ibadan South-East.
