The “Idera De Brothers and Sisters” group, alongside the Eleyele Market Traders and the Association of Corn and Pepper Millers of Oyo State (Ibadan North Chapter), officially declared their support for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s gubernatorial ambition for Oyo State in 2027.

This declaration was made during a solidarity visit to Chief Sanusi, the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.

The groups, led by notable figures such as Mrs. Modupe Olaniji (Idera De), Parakoyi of Eleyele Market Chief Akeem Abiola (Eleyele Market Traders), and Mr. Alabi Kazeem (Association of Corn and Pepper Millers), delivered heartfelt goodwill messages expressing their unwavering support for Chief Sanusi’s vision and leadership. They emphasized their belief in his ability to drive progress and development for Oyo State.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, and the Iyaloja of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, among other dignitaries.

In his response, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi expressed his deep gratitude to the groups for their overwhelming support. He reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing policies that will improve the welfare of the people of Oyo State and create lasting positive change.

This declaration of support marks a significant milestone in Chief Sanusi’s growing grassroots movement as he prepares to officially contest for the Oyo State governorship in the 2027 elections.
