The Deputy Director-General and Secretary of the Oyo State Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Campaign Council, Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, popularly known as “AROSAD,” has donated the sum of ₦10 million towards the procurement of a BB 200 Baby Incubator with Phototherapy for the newly commissioned Muslim Hospital, Oyo.

Arowosaye announced the donation today, while attending the commissioning of the healthcare facility, describing the project as a landmark development and a major contribution to the advancement of healthcare services in Oyo Town and its surrounding communities.

According to him, the establishment of the Muslim Hospital represents a significant milestone in the collective efforts to expand access to quality and affordable healthcare, while also strengthening the capacity of the town to meet the growing medical needs of its population.

He congratulated the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, on the commissioning of the facility, commending the traditional institution and all stakeholders whose efforts contributed to the successful completion of the hospital.

Arowosaye also applauded the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the ongoing LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex, Oyo, project, noting that sustained investment in healthcare infrastructure would further enhance the development prospects of Oyo Town.

He expressed optimism that the combination of the newly commissioned Muslim Hospital and the continued development of the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex could significantly transform Oyo into an important destination for medical services.

According to him, improved healthcare infrastructure has the potential to attract patients, medical professionals and investors, while creating economic opportunities for residents and stimulating the growth of businesses and other supporting services within the town.

Beyond the economic benefits, he stressed that the most important impact of such investments would be the improved access to timely, quality and affordable healthcare for the people.

Arowosaye particularly appreciated the Chairman of the Muslim Hospital Project Committee, Alhaji Imam Daud Igiogun, as well as members of the committee, for their dedication, sacrifice and commitment towards bringing the project to fruition.

He said the successful completion and commissioning of the hospital demonstrated what could be achieved when individuals and communities come together in pursuit of projects that directly impact human lives.

As part of his personal contribution towards supporting the hospital’s operations and improving maternal and child healthcare services, Arowosaye announced a donation of ₦10 million for the purchase of a BB 200 Baby Incubator with Phototherapy.

He noted that the equipment would contribute to the hospital’s capacity to provide specialised care for newborn babies requiring critical medical attention.

“Investing in healthcare is ultimately an investment in the future of our people,” he said, adding that access to functional and properly equipped healthcare facilities remains essential to the wellbeing, productivity and prosperity of every community.

Arowosaye therefore called on well-meaning individuals, corporate organisations, community leaders and other stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and other sectors that promote human development.

He expressed hope that the Muslim Hospital, Oyo, would continue to serve humanity, provide relief to families in need of medical care, and make meaningful contributions to the overall growth and development of Oyo Town.

The commissioning of the facility marks another notable step in the expansion of healthcare infrastructure in Oyo, with expectations that the hospital will complement existing and emerging medical facilities and bring quality healthcare services closer to residents.
