Omituntun 3.0: Seun Ashamu Congratulates Open Salawu on Selection as APM Deputy Gov Candidate, Hails His Integrity, Diligence, Leadership Capacity

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Oyo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Hon. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu, popularly known as Seun TNA, has congratulated Engr. Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party for the 2027 gubernatorial election in Oyo State.



Ashamu described Salawu’s selection as a well-deserved recognition of his years of dedication, loyalty, and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State, expressing confidence in his ability to effectively complement the party’s governorship candidate in advancing the Omituntun 3.0 agenda.



In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, the federal lawmaker hopeful commended Salawu’s integrity, diligence, humility, and proven leadership capacity, noting that his track record in public service has distinguished him as a dependable and result-oriented administrator.


According to Ashamu, the emergence of Salawu has further strengthened the confidence of party members and supporters in the APM’s readiness to provide purposeful leadership and sustain the developmental achievements recorded under the current administration.
“Engr. Muftau Open Salawu is a man of good character, solid commitment, and exceptional administrative competence. His emergence as the deputy governorship candidate is not only a reward for hard work and loyalty but also a testament to the confidence reposed in his ability to serve the people effectively,” he said.
Ashamu further stated that Salawu possesses the vision, experience, and capacity required to contribute meaningfully to the realization of the Omituntun 3.0 agenda, which he said is aimed at consolidating the gains of good governance, infrastructure development, economic growth, and social welfare across Oyo State.
He urged party faithful and residents of the state to support the party’s ticket, expressing optimism that the combination would deliver responsive leadership and accelerate the pace of development in the state.
