The Oyo State House of Assembly has joined millions of well – wishers across the State and beyond to celebrate the Speaker, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin as he marks his 39th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader, whose tenure has elevated legislative governance and strengthened democratic institutions.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Media, ICT and Public Affairs , Hon. Waheed Akintayo noted that the leadership of Ogundoyin has brought about significant gains in legislative practice, strengthened collaboration with other arms of Government and enhance public trust in the Legislature.
“The Speaker’s stewardship has been marked by landmark legislative achievements, improved Inter – Governmental collaboration, and people – centered policies that have positively impacted constituents across the State.
His role in promoting transparency, accountability and legislative independence is well acknowledged.”
Hon. Akintayo explained that Mr. Speaker’s rare blend of youthful energy and administrative competence have not only inspired fellow lawmakers but also positioned the Assembly as a progressive and responsive institution.
“His ability to combine youthful energy with administrative depth has inspired colleagues and set a shinning example for emerging leaders in public service.”
He explained further that Hon. Ogundoyin’s Skills and dedication to service demonstrate unwavering commitment to the progress and development of the Pace – Setter State, he added that his vision, and passion have been instrumental in driving meaningful changes in the Assembly.
