The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, arrived in Yola on Monday to represent Governor Seyi Makinde at the presentation of a new book titled Fintiri: The Man They Could Not Stop, written in honour of the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
Lawal was accompanied by the Oyo State Commissioner for Energy, Professor Daud Sangodoyin, and the Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade.
The delegation attended the event as part of intergovernmental engagements and solidarity with the Adamawa State Government.
The book presentation, held in Yola, drew political leaders, public office holders and guests from across the country, celebrating the leadership and political journey of Governor Fintiri.
