The Oyo State Deputy Speaker, Hon Abiodun Aderemi Fadeyi has expressed sadness over the death of wife of one of his staunch loyalist popularly called Baba Dijo.
Hon. Fadeyi, on Tuesday, paid a condolence visit to Baba Dijo, whose wife popularly called ‘Iya Wasiu’, passed on last week Monday and buried the next day (Tuesday).
He described the late wife of Baba Dijo as a virtuous and God-fearing woman who stood firmly behind her husband at all times throughout their marital journey until she succumbed.
He added that, Iya Wasiu had left a great vacuum and would be sorely missed by the people for all the roles she played during her lifetime.
Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased, and for the family she left behind.
