The atmosphere within the Oyo East Local Government was filled with joy and admiration as the management, staff, and political functionaries of the council extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola, popularly known as Omi Anu, on the occasion of his 55th birthday on Friday, October 31, 2025.


In a statement made available through his media Aide, Adeleke Afees Adeniran, the council’s leadership described Hon. Oluokun as a visionary leader whose exemplary commitment to grassroots development has brought tremendous progress to the people of Oyo East.


The statement further lauded his humility, administrative acumen, and people-oriented leadership style, which have continued to endear him to residents across the local government area.
