In a testament to his exemplary leadership, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, Chairman of Oyo East Local Government was honoured with an “Award of Excellence performance in governance” by Daalwastim International.
The Chairman and the founder of the organization, Alh Abdulwasiu Salaudeen, commended Hon Oluokun for his outstanding contributions to local governance. highlighted Oluokun’s extensive performance, including his roles in combating insecurity.
The organization lauds Hon. Oluokun’s strong rapport with his people in grassroots irrespective of their status, underscoring his cooperative spirit that benefits the entire Oyo East Local Government. They expressed their willingness to support and collaborate with him to further enhance governance in the Local Government.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Oluokun expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, viewing it as motivation to continue his service and dedication to community development. He acknowledged the crucial role of religious and political leaders in governance and welcomed the organization’s input in decision-making.
Hon. Oluokun also praised Governor Makinde for fostering a conducive environment for local councils in Oyo State.
