The management and staff of Oyo East Local Government have celebrated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a man of integrity, vision, humility, and exemplary leadership.
The Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), directors of various departments, heads of units, and other members of staff expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the chairman in separate goodwill messages conveyed through his Media Aide, Adeleke Afees Adeniran.
In their congratulatory messages, they commended Hon. Oluokun for his approachable leadership style, dedication to service, and commitment to fostering a cordial working relationship with the management and staff of the local government.
The Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) described the chairman as a leader who is exceptionally easy to work with, noting that his simplicity, understanding, and supportive disposition make administrative responsibilities easier for directors, heads of units, and other members of staff.
According to him, Hon. Oluokun’s leadership style promotes cooperation, mutual understanding, and a conducive working environment, enabling staff members to perform their duties effectively.
Similarly, the Director of Establishments praised the chairman for his humility, patience, tolerance, and admirable sense of humour. He noted that these qualities distinguish Hon. Oluokun as a leader who values human relationships and treats people with respect and understanding.
He also offered prayers for the chairman, wishing him good health, prosperity, and continued success in his service to the people.
Other members of staff, who joined in the joyful celebration, expressed their appreciation for the chairman’s accessibility and willingness to listen to their concerns. They described him as a compassionate and responsive leader who remains available to both his people and members of staff, regardless of the magnitude of the challenges brought before him.
They further commended his willingness to offer assistance and seek solutions whenever people approach him for support, describing these qualities as evidence of his people-oriented leadership.
The staff collectively prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health, peace of mind, long life, prosperity, and greater accomplishments for the chairman. They also wished him many more years of fruitful service and outstanding achievements in the discharge of his responsibilities.
