A leading governorship aspirant in Oyo State and former Commissioner of Police in Lagos and Benue states, CP Fatai Owoseni (rtd), has provided meal support to over 1,000 Oyo State pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, just as he prayed for their safe travel and return to the country.
The meal support is being given to the pilgrims ahead of their airlift to the Holy Land and it is expected to be done for three days till all the batches from the state are airlifted.
Speaking to newsmen in Ibadan over the phone, two of the beneficiaries commended Owoseni, who is the Alatunse-Ilu Adini of Oyo State, noting that his effort went a long way in easing the burden of pilgrims.
While appreciating the governorship aspirant, they prayed to Allah to grant his heart desire of becoming the governor of the state.
