The Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Ademola Omotoso, has congratulated the Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Seun Olufade, on his emergence as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for a second term ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State.
Omotoso, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Tuesday, described Olufade’s return ticket as a reflection of his outstanding performance in office, exemplary leadership and the confidence reposed in him by the leadership and stakeholders of the APM in Ibadan North.
”Your emergence as the party’s candidate for a second term is a clear testament to your impactful leadership, dedication to grassroots development and the confidence the people and the party have in your ability to deliver more democratic dividends. I congratulate you on this well-deserved achievement and wish you victory at the polls,” Omotoso said.
The Housing Corporation chairman noted that Olufade’s first term in office had been marked by people-oriented programmes and developmental initiatives, which, according to him, earned him the confidence of party leaders and stakeholders to seek another mandate.
He expressed optimism that a second term would provide the opportunity to consolidate on the achievements already recorded in Ibadan North Local Government.
Omotoso also commended the leadership of the Allied Peoples Movement for conducting what he described as a transparent and credible process that produced Olufade as the party’s standard-bearer, urging members and supporters of the party to remain united and work towards securing victory at the forthcoming election.
”As you seek a renewed mandate, I urge you to remain committed to the principles of good governance, accountability and selfless service. I have no doubt that your experience and dedication will continue to drive sustainable development and improve the lives of the people of Ibadan North,” he added.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength and success for Olufade throughout the electioneering campaign, expressing confidence that the people of Ibadan North would once again reward his performance and leadership with their support at the polls.
