Oyo PDP E-registration Exercise: The Journey So Far by Abidemi Oresanwo (State Cordinator)
On the 14th of July 2021,Miss Abidemi Oresanwo, the Oyo State Nominee on E-registration was inaugurated at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja alongside others from across the remaining 35 states of the federation as Oyo State Coordinator of the National Technical Committee on PDP E-registration exercise of our great Party, having been nominated by HE. Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde to represent our dear State.
The official portal was launched by the authorities on Monday 9th August,2021 in Abuja at Wadata plaza. The working Chairman of the E-registration Committee is HE. Godwin Obaseki, The Deputy Chairman HE. Hon. Ahmed Fintiri Umaru while Col. Austin Akobundu(rtd) serves as Secretary.
On the 23rd of August,2021,Oyo PDP, National Technical Committee organized E-Registration Training for the 33 Local Government Party Chairmen on the Ongoing PDP membership registration…..
The leadership of Oyo State PDP in conjunction with the State Coordinator of the Technical Committee of the PDP E-Registration, Ms. Abidemi Oresanwo Organized a one (1) day training for the 33 Local Government Party Chairmen , few GSM media team and selected party members across the State.
The State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Akeem Olatunji while declaring the event opened on behalf of the State Working Committee explained that the good works of Engineer Seyi Makinde has made the populace loves PDP and they want to participate and register to be PDP members across the state, Hence, the need for orientation and training for the volunteers and local party leaders.
Ms. Abidemi Oresanwo carefully explained how the platform works and how to ensure efficiency to the delight and understanding of all the audience.she also stated that there is a working module for the programme in which the step-by-step processes for the e-registration exercise, which has been distributed to the 33LGA chairmen,who should in turn pass it on to the various Ward Chairmen in the respective LGAs.
The Chairman of PDP in Ibadan North LG, Prince Seun Morounfolu Adelore , while thanking the facilitators of the training and the State Working Committee on behalf of the participants said that the whole nation is tired of lacklustre performance of the APC and they can’t wait to vote for PDP at the next general elections.
The training ended well as member of the party are ready to start the field /agent registration for both the existing members and the new members willing to join and be a card carrier of our great Party due to the important of this exercise is to mobilize all Nigerians regardless of factions, cliques or other mundane issues. ( the exercise is targeted at unifying all members of the party).
The training was facilitated by the State Coordinator of the PDP e-registration Committee in conjunction with the State Working Committee of the Party.
