    Oyo State Advisory Council Condoles Makinde over brother’s Passing

    … As Council reflects on the legacy of Engr. Sunday Makinde, prays for his soul to rest in peace

    The Oyo State Advisory Council has expressed its deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde over the passing of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde, on Friday, January 24, 2025.

    The message was made to Condoles with Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the demise of his elderly brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.

    The condolence message was written on behalf of the committee of the State Advisory Council led by Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN and other members of the committee through the secretary of the committee,
    Babatunde Giwa.

    The message read “The council members are deeply saddened by the news and acknowledge the immense pain and void left by the loss of a loved one, especially a brother.

    “The bond between brothers is unique and profound, built on shared memories, mutual respect, and familial love.

    “The council recognizes that losing such a crucial figure in one’s life is heart-wrenching and that the personal pain Governor Makinde is experiencing is compounded by the demands of his office.

    “In this difficult time, the council encourages Governor Makinde to surround himself with loved ones who can provide support and comfort.

    “They also remind him that it is perfectly acceptable to grieve and that he is not alone in this journey.

    “The council reflects on the legacy of Engineer Sunday Makinde, which will undoubtedly live on through the lives he touched and the memories he created with his family.

    “They pray that Governor Makinde finds solace in reflecting on the joyful moments he shared with his “brother.

    “The Oyo State Advisory Council offers its heartfelt condolences to Governor Makinde and the Makinde family as they navigate this difficult chapter.

    “They pray for the family to have the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and for Engineer Sunday Makinde’s soul to rest in peace.

    The council’s condolence message is a testament to the respect and admiration they have for the governor and his family.

    As the state mourns the loss of Engineer Sunday Makinde, the council urges everyone to remember the governor and his family in their prayers.

    They pray for strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.
