The Water Corporation of Oyo State has embarked on rehabilitation of water pipeline conveying potable water to the Oyo State government Secretariat Complex, Agodi Ibadan with a view to put an end to the perennial water scarcity.
The Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Water Corporation,Hon. Elias Adeojo made this known today during his meeting with the team of engineers of the Corporation assigned with the exercise in his office.
While speaking further, Hon. Adeojo praised the efforts put in so far by the engineers in resuscitating the Government house water supply which has been moribund for some years preceding the present government of governor Seyi Makinde.
He added that when the rehabilitation is fully completed,all the business concerns around the Secretariat Complex will benefit from the exercise.
Hon. Adeojo reiterated that the government of Oyo State under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde is working tirelessly to make potable water available to the residents of the State as a whole before the expiration of his second term in office.
