The Chairman Oyo State Water Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo, has congratulated the Director-General of the Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI), Mr. Kunle Yussuf, MON, on his recent recognition as an Ambassador of Goodwill at a United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) high-level roundtable in New York.
Yussuf was honoured by the Global Organization for Sustainable Development Goals (GOFSDGs), in partnership with CSCHEI and in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), during a high-level global executive roundtable held at the United Nations Headquarters on September 18, 2026.
Adeojo, in his congratulatory message on Wednesday, described the recognition as a significant honour for Yussuf, noting that it underscored his contributions to humanitarian affairs, community advancement and sustainable development.
He commended Yussuf for his dedication to initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable and underserved communities, while also promoting social inclusion and sustainable development.
According to Adeojo, the recognition would serve as further encouragement for Yussuf to sustain his efforts in humanitarian and community development, particularly through partnerships and interventions that address the needs of people at the grassroots.
He said the honour was not only a personal achievement for Yussuf but also a source of pride to individuals and organisations that have identified with his work and contributions to humanitarian causes.

He wished the CSCHEI Director-General continued success in his humanitarian endeavours, urging him to remain committed to the principles of inclusion, dignity, accountability and service to humanity.
