The Oyo State government is steadfast in its mission to provide clean and potable water to all residents.

The commitment was reaffirmed by the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Water Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo, during his visit to the Ologuneru community.

Hon. Adeojo announced that the Ologuneru water supply project, initially launched by a previous administration, faced delays due to technical challenges.

However, following directives from Governor Seyi Makinde, the Oyo Water Corporation has swiftly addressed these bottlenecks to ensure a reliable flow of water to the community.

“We are optimistic about extending water pipelines to every corner of Ologuneru in the near future,” stated Hon. Adeojo.

He noted the importance of increasing access to water by pledging to install additional standpipes while also repairing damaged ones.

To facilitate connections for residents and local businesses, the Chairman encouraged community members to visit the Jericho district office of the Corporation.

“We are here to ensure that everyone has access to water in their homes and enterprises,” he added.
