The Secretary to Oyo West Local Government, Hon. Adekanmbi Adepeju Folasade, has congratulated prominent politician and philanthropist Seun Ashamu on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to the growth and development of Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Thursday, Folasade praised Ashamu for his dedication to public service, youth empowerment and grassroots development, noting that his contributions have continued to impact many lives positively across the state.
She described the celebrant as “a dependable and progressive-minded leader whose passion for the welfare of the people remains commendable”.
“On behalf of my family and supporters, I warmly celebrate Hon. Seun Ashamu on his birthday. He has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership qualities and an unwavering commitment to the progress of our people,” she said.
Folasade further commended Ashamu’s political leadership and humanitarian efforts, praying for greater wisdom, strength and good health for him as he continues his service to humanity.
“I pray that Almighty God grants him many more fruitful years, sound health and greater accomplishments in all his endeavours. His dedication to humanity and community development is truly inspiring,” she added.
The Oyo West council secretary also used the opportunity to publicly declare her support for Ashamu’s aspiration to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver quality representation and attract meaningful development to the people.
According to her, Ashamu possessed the experience, competence and leadership capacity required to effectively represent the interests of the people at the National Assembly.
“I wholeheartedly support his ambition for the House of Representatives because I am convinced that he has the capacity, experience and passion to provide purposeful representation for our constituency. I urge party members and constituents to rally behind him for the collective progress of our people,” Folasade stated.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working with other stakeholders to ensure the success of leaders who are genuinely committed to the advancement of the constituency and Oyo State at large.
