Oyo state government has said the state tourism could generate between 60 to 70 percent of the state revenue, if the potentials are been utilized.
This was stated by the chairman Oyo state Culture and Tourism Board, Debo Adejumo, while speaking with GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent in his office this Friday
Adejumo revealed that the present administration plans to invite investors to develop the state tourists sector to world standard.
He affirmed that the present administration is planning to stage a competition among all the 33 Local government in the state where they would display their various culture and that of tourist site they have.
He admonished all residents in the state to promote culture and inculcate the culture in the mind of the younger generation
