For his commitment to Community Service, Hon. Afeez Akinpelu Kure, the Majority Leader for Legislative arm of Ibadan South East Local Government had been given Award of Impactful Young Leader in Oyo State.
The award was conferred on him at the last Oyo State Youth Summit.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government said Hon. Akinpelu’s contributions to the development of his people, communities are laudable.
“You are given this special award of Impactful Young Leader in Oyo state because we believe you deserve it due to your contributions to the progress of Youths in Ibadan South East and Oyo State”. The council boss said.
While rejoicing with the awardee, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr Mrs Agnes Olakunbi Ojo disclosed that the award was in recognition of Hon Kure’s outstanding performance as a lawmaker who has excelled in his service to the community.
While receiving the award, Hon. Kure declared his appreciation of the gesture, saying “big thanks to the Oyo State Council for this special recognition and Award of Impactful Young Leaders. I do not take this for granted.” He added.
