OYRTMA Joins Olubadan, CCII At Interfaith Prayer For Peace,Progress,Stability Of Oyo State
Officers and men of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) led by the Executive Chairman, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi on Tuesday joined with the Paramount Ruler and Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Soliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeoguguniso 1, The Olubadan In-Council and the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) at the Popoyemoja Palace of the First Class Monarch for an interfaith prayer to seek God’s infinite mercy and forgiveness for all the illustrious sons and daughters of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general who had lost their lives particularly during this ravaging Corona-Virus Pandemic.
While the leaders also seized the opportunity to offer fervent prayers for the success of the Governor Seyi Abiodun Makinde led administration in the State, they equally took the chance to ask God Almighty for his mercy, guidance and protection over all indigenes and residents of the State.
The event was attended by numerous traditional and religious leaders including the Otun Olubadan, The Balogun Olubadan, Ekarun Olubadan, The Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Primate Emeritus, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Iyaloja of Ibadanland, President and Executives of the CCII, Mogaji Ile-Akere among other dignitaries.
OYRTMA officers ensured sanity was maintained along all surrounding road corridors as there was free human and vehicular movement before, during and after the holy and important event.
