Oyo State Government Women of Substance has congratulated Muslims in Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir.
Speaking through a press statement signed by their coordinator, Hon Hellen Taiwo Adebakin and made available to GOALPOACHER NEWS reads in parts:
“As the Muslim Ummah celebrate this year’s Eid-el Kabir, we would like to implore residents of Oyo State especially the women to intensify prayers for peaceful co-existence in our dear state.”
Hon Hellen while felicitating the Muslim Ummah, asked them not to forget the spirit behind Eid-el Kabir celebration.
She urged residents to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, obedience and respect for one another for the collective advancement of the our dear state.
She reiterates the need for peace if the desired development would be achieved.
She lauded Governor Makinde’s efforts to develop the state by investing on infrastructure that will set the state on the part of prosperity which we all crave for.
