OYSHMB takes over newly renovated Igbo-Ora General Hospital as Dr Fagbemi Hails Adedigba’s Family
The chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’Management Board Dr Akin Fagbemi and his management team was at the official commissioning and handing over ceremony of newly remodelled and renovated General Hospital,Igbo-Ora in Ibarapa Central Local Govt area of the state.
The remodelling and renovation was done by the Adedigba family in memory of their late father Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba of Igbo-Ora town.
In his speech,Dr Akin Fagbemi who represented Governor Seyi Makinde lauded the contribution of the Adedigba family in the health sector saying it will assist and compliment the effort of His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde in sustainable health care delivery to the people of Igbo-Ora and Oyo state in general.
He therefore solicited for more support from well to do people in the state to take part in moving the state to greater heights.
The wife of Late Alhaji Adedigba, Mrs Adedigba called on the state government to help in maintaining the hospital by deploy better hands and people with right attitude towards work into the hospital.
Present at the event were the family of late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba,His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Titiloye JP,Provost of College of Medicine University of Ibadan,Professor T.O Ogundiran, chairman of the day Professor Kamaldeen Balogun.
