….Hails Seyi Makinde, Reiterates Commitment to Grassroot Development
In a powerful demonstration of sustained commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Abideen Adeaga has once again reaffirmed his dedication to the people with a large-scale empowerment programme, providing ₦50,000 cash each to over 500 beneficiaries.
This initiative is part of a broader vision that has reached more than 50,000 individuals across Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.
The impactful event, held at Alengogo Community Hall, brought together beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds, including youths, women, and vulnerable individuals.
The programme provided financial support and resources aimed at improving livelihoods, fostering self-reliance, and promoting inclusive economic growth within the constituency.
This milestone further underscores Hon. Adeaga’s unwavering commitment to empowerment, a programme he has consistently sustained since 2015 marking over a decade of continuous investment in human capital development and community upliftment.
The event was graced by notable political figures and stakeholders, including the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru, who commended Hon. Adeaga’s remarkable efforts and encouraged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds.
Also in attendance were Hon. Olajide, member representing Lagelu at the Oyo State House of Assembly; Hon. Olatoye “Big Daddy”; Hon. Rad; key stakeholders from both Lagelu and Akinyele Local Governments; as well as the former Vice Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, fondly known as Baba Double T, among others.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Adeaga emphasized that his empowerment drive is inspired by the visionary leadership and developmental blueprint of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
He reiterated his resolve to sustain and expand the initiative, ensuring that more people continue to benefit from meaningful and impactful governance.
